I'm testing this idea to see if a blog is a good way to chronicle the progress of a major transformation happening in our back yard. It' s not such a huge thing from a global perspective; many more important things going on in the world. But it's a big deal for us because we are living in the middle of it and people keep asking... so here goes...

Then the trench happened for burying the overhead power line.
I thought this was the most awful mess and
couldn't stand what was happening in my yard... well... just wait...Shall I continue?
The snow fence went up and the machine came in.
Where is all this heading? Here are renderings provided by our awesome architect, Robert McLaughlin. (Sorry Robert, I know you didn't give me permission to post these, but you didn't say no either! Let me know and I'll pull them, if you'd rather.)
